About the speaker

Sofia Carlsson, PhD, is an internationally recognized expert on risk factors for adult‑onset autoimmune diabetes, including LADA, type 1 and type 2 diabetes. She is Lecturer at the Unit of Epidemiology, Institute of Environmental Medicine, Karolinska Institutet (KI), Stockholm, and serves as Associate Editor of Diabetologia.
